The Champions League returned as eight of the finest teams faced up in the quarter finals. The competition looks to be hotting up as we draw closer to the final of this all important cup. Over the weekend, three teams are slowly bunching together at both ends of the table. La Liga kicked off the weekend with only six points between the top three sides and five points between bottom table Real Betis and 14th place Celta Vigo. The weekend football was spaced over the three days and produced some excellent football between all the teams that played.
